A year after the release of their sixth EP, From Our 20’s, fromis_9 returns with another comeback. Previously considered a nine-member group, current members Hayoung, Jiwon, Chaeyoung, Nagyung, and Jiheon demonstrate their distinctive charm in this ten-track album.

The album begins with its opening track “Eternal.” The group’s powerful vocals and falsettos give a nice balance between the upbeat tempos. “Vitamin ME,” also known as the title track, demonstrates a lovely blend of Latin-inspired beats. Despite its repeated notes, there are nice mixtures of ad-libs, whistle notes, and soothing harmonies from each member.

The third track, “Pocket Treat,” executes an energetic vibe. There is also a phenomenal combination of vocal layers along with instrumental arrangements. With “Blue Heart,” this B-side production has a sense of sleekness along with an electro-pop edginess. Thanks to its somber sound, this allows the members to deliver sharper vocals.

On the other hand, “Screen Time” brings in a sentimental transition. Every member has a unique tone within this particular track. Overall, the track demonstrates heartfelt and emotional melodies. “Teacher” pairs with a charming sound and an alluring rhythm. Its overall sensuality, compelling hook, and elevated ad-libs make this B-side easier to notice.

“Cold Blood” is the first subunit track featuring Chaeyoung, Nagyung, and Jiheon. The trio’s ability to highlight vibrancy and vocal chemistry adds uniqueness to their overall charm. Hayoung and Jiwon, the second subunit, bring us a pop-rock sound with “Why Do I Cry?.” This heartfelt, emotional song allows the duo to deliver their powerful vocals with an expressive tone.

“Day 1” is a track that brings in a softer and minimalistic sound. The upfront strong vocals and heartfelt melodies compel the listeners into an uplifting moment. “Wonderland,” the closing track of the album, elevates the group’s exceptional vocals and backup harmonization. Thanks to the addition of dynamic instrumental arrangements, the album ends on a memorable high note.

Overall, Glow ME is a full-length album with vocal versatility and refreshing summer tracks. Its emotional balance, uniqueness, and memorable subunits allow the album to start and end beautifully. Be sure to give it a listen!

After his mandatory military service, Woodz has dedicated himself to musical expression and actively connecting with fans, or MOODZ, once again. That includes making a return on national AND international soil for his second world tour.

Cho Seungyoun made his debut as a solo artist in 2016. With the former stage name Luizy, Seungyoun rebranded as WOODZ in 2018. Currently under EDAM Entertainment, Woodz has demonstrated his “all-rounder” abilities through singing, songwriting, rapping, and record producing for the past ten years. He is known for his 2023 B-side, “Drowning,” which had a consecutive 70-week streak in the Top 10 under Melon 100.

Archive.1, Woodz’s first full length album, is a “self-authentic” genre combination of rock, pop, R&B, metal, and ballad. Weeks following its release, Woodz embarked on his second tour under the same name. After the anticipated tour began with the two-day concert in Incheon, he expanded his tour through Asia, Europe, and Australia.

With general sale tickets and VIP packages now available, Woodz will continue to expand the tour throughout South America before ending in North America in August.
